Nerves and all

I love to travel.

But the truth is, the night before I leave for a big trip I get really nervous. I have the wild and irrational thought I'll never return home. Happens every trip, no matter how excited I am for the journey and the destination.

Tonight, I'm a jittery mess. But tomorrow I'll get on the road and about an hour in I'll relax into the trip.

There's a lot to see between Michigan and the West Coast. The best part is that when I get to LA, my boy will be there ready to show me his new home.

Before he moved, I told him I'd meet him out in the world. And so that's where I'm headed...out into the world. Nerves and all.
